Rory urgently needs to travel to Boston Children's Hospital for surgery on his hips and knees which will allow him to progress with his wish to walk journey. Rory is my beautiful little boy, he is the sunshine in my life! He was named Rory Gallagher after the great Irish guitarist Rory Gallagher. Rory is the bravest wee man, he fights cerebral palsy quadriplegia everyday of his life and still manages to smile ❤️ Rory had a very traumatic birth, he was born 8 weeks early and in critical condition, it was hour by hour with him in the intensive care unit, he was not promised to survive a day. Thaand a complete blessing!

My heart is bursting with pride as Rory is defying the odds, he is doing what they said was impossible ❤️ Rory has shown me that nothing is impossible as he has overcome so much in his life already!

Rory is my little fighter and I will always be his no.1 supporter!

Due to his cerebral palsy Rory has poor vision, he has lung function issues, he has gastroesophageal reflux disease, he suffers with seizures he is asthmatic and unfortunately he is in pain each day but despite all this he is the happiest little man in the world! He is full of fun and devilment. He loves boxing, soccer and gaming! He is a Fortnite superfan. I am very hopeful for Rory and his future, he is such a happy, loving kind and caring little man, he is my everything! He is so determined to walk and I know in heart he will do it!

Life is very stressful at the moment as I am not only trying to raise the funds for Rory's surgery and follow-up rehabilitation but I am also trying to raise the funds for Rory's accessible home here in Galway. The love and support been shown to Rory is a testament to the love and kindness that exists. I am building Rory’s forever home, where all his friends can come over and have some fun! Rory is very excited at the thoughts of having his own fully accessible home where he will be able to get around in his wheelchair but most importantly he will have the hoist system throughout the house so that no room will be off bounds for Rory!

He says he will "be like Spiderman flying around the house". Rory is a wheelchair user and his accessible house will give him the gift of comfort, freedom and independence! This house will improve all parts of Rory’s daily life, Not just physically but emotionally, Rory’s independence will soar, his confidence and self belief will grow and this house will give Rory the freedom that he deserves, it will provide him with the space that he needs to live comfortably and allow him to participate fully in all aspects of family life, it will bring a whole new world of fun and happiness to his life and Rory just can’t wait!
