Rory is my beautiful little boy, he is the sunshine in my life!

He is the bravest wee man, he fights cerebral palsy quadriplegia everyday of his life and still manages to smile. We are currently renting a house that is completely unsuitable for Rory’s needs, it’s old and damp and the only bath is upstairs, which means it’s inaccessible to Rory. So the time has come that we must now put all our efforts into raising the funds for Rory’s forever home, where all his friends can come over and have some fun!

Rory is very excited at the thoughts of having his own fully accessible family home where he will be able to get around in his wheelchair but most importantly he will have the hoist system throughout the house so that no room will be off bounds for Rory!!!

He says he will "be like spiderman flying around the house".

While Rory is a wheelchair user, he has a wish to walk which he is working on every day! He has a goal and he’s not giving up. He’s a little fighter Rory 100% believes that his wish to walk will come true and I know in my heart that with your help it happen happen ❤️❤️ With his house he will finally have his own rehabilitation room with the equipment that he needs so that he can continue on with his wish to walk journey at home with the help of a conductor. He will have independence and privacy in his own medically adapted bedroom or as Rory’s calling it his “gaming room”. Gaming is a huge part of Rory's life and he absolutely loves gaming with his friend’s, it will be just wonderful to have the space to invite them over so that they can all have the craic together! Rory has been waiting 5 years for an accessible bathroom set up with the systems and equipment he needs!

This house will improve all parts of Rory’s daily life, Not just physically but emotionally, Rory’s independence will soar, his confidence and self belief will grow and this house will give Rory the freedom that he deserves, it will provide him with the space that he needs to live comfortably and allow him to participate fully in all aspects of family life, it will bring a whole new world of fun and happiness to his life and Rory just can’t wait!
