In Memory of Nola Whiteside...

For Nola... What a beautiful gift for her. ‌
Please help our dear friend, sister, mother, and wife, Nola Whiteside, with her fight against this terrible disease of cancer. She was diagnosed in June 2015 with Adenocarcinoma of the small bowel. For the past 9 months she has endured several surgeries and massive chemo treatments, with no progress on recovery. Moffit Cancer Treatment Center has been involved and most recently informed this beautiful, young, amazing woman that the cancer is not responding to their last most aggressive chemo. She had most recently spent 12 days in the hospital with pneumonia, extreme pain, and labored breathing. She was admitted to ICU for the first 5 days, with an extremely high heart rate, low blood pressure, anxiety, and severe shortness of breath. A medical procedure of the Paracentesis drained1500cc out of the abdomen and the Thoracentesis drained over 400cc off of the lungs. This incredible mother of 5, devoted wife, sister, and loving friend, is fighting for her life with no remission from her disease, thus far. The family is now in search of non-conventional cancer treatment, and is in need of any financial assistance to help with these expenses, to carry this family through this extremely difficult time. They plan on exploring treatment options through Dr. MD Anderson and/or an alternative specialist. Traveling to their destination for the best option available is of utmost priority for this precious family, and necessary in an immediate fashion. They have arranged to hit the road as soon as possible. Throughout her journey, Nola has not faltered in her faith or her courage.
