My Story
Welcome to my page. I invited you for a reason...I need a liver transplant.
In December of 2022, I was diagnosed with liver failure. Years of toxic HIV drugs and other factors have destroyed my liver. So currently, I'm doing all of the things that someone needs to do to become eligible to receive a transplant. As someone dear to me, I invite you to go on this journey with me.
As you might imagine, transplants aren't cheap and insurance only covers so much (the average liver transplant is over $1MM* and that doesn't include all of the transportation and general health needs related to it). This is a marathon and not a race…it requires that I stay up on insurance and ongoing medical-related expenses**.
My ask of you: As I roll this out, first and foremost, I ask for you to keep me in your prayers. Secondly, I ask that you consider a donation. - The transplant requires months of approvals and travel to and from St. Louis where the transplant will occur. All funds received will be used solely for items related to the transplant.
