Ismael lives in Peoria, il he is 19 years old. Back in 2008 Ismael received three bone marrow transplants that saved his life. To survive a transplant it's hard but to survive three is a miracle. Ten years later Ismael is still fighting for his health. In June Ismael had a biopsy that discovered that he has stage 3 cancer. Ismael underwent surgery July 8,2016. As for right now Ismael is stable and in treatment. Everyday he has radaitions and every week chemotherapy. The doctors are hoping that with his history facconi anemia no other cancers will appear. After treatment we will need to stay in Cincinnati, Ohio another month. If everything comes out clear after his tests, Ismael will be coming back and forth every month. Living outside of our house it is getting very costly. With being out of work for 3 months with no income and only being halfway done with treatment scares us.
