We are Team Massachusetts; a junior curling team who has recently qualified for the Junior National Championship in Willmar, Minnesota, from Janurary 16th to the 23rd. Our team consists of four members: Chase Sinnett (Skip), Evan Mullaney (Vice), Justin Arndt (Second), Jack Kelly (Lead) and Andrew Dudt (Alternate)
Chase is 17. He is a Junior at Medfield High School, and he has been curling since he was five years old. When Chase is not curling, you can find him playing in the Medfield High Orchestra, working on the Literary Magazine, or instructing curling at Broomstones—his home club.
Evan just turned 18 during the GNCC Playdowns. Evan attends Cardinal Spellman High School and is a math and science tutor, a NHS member, and also a curling instructor at Broomstones—his home club. Evan started curling at four years old with his late father.
Justin is 19 and is a Sophomore at Quinnipiac University where he studies marketing and plays in the pep band. Justin curls out of the Nutmeg Curling Club and has been curling since he was 13 years old.
Jack just turned 18 and is a Senior at North Andover High School. Jack plays on the varsity golf team, and he started an investment club at his school. Jack has been curling since he was eight years old at his home club, Broomstones.
Andrew Dudt is the team's 5th player and is 18 years old. He is a senior at Great Valley High School and has been curling since he was four years old. He attended Jr. Nationals in 2014 and 2015. Off the ice he is an Eagle Scout, Student Council Officer, NHS member and interns at Momentum Dynamics, an engineering company. His home club is the Philadelphia Curling Club.
We would appreciate a donation/support in any amount in order to cover expenses such as travel, accommodations, uniforms, and equipment.
We have worked hard to accomplish our first goal of securing a spot in the 2016 Junior National Championships. With your help, we will be able to accomplish our dream of competing at the national level.
Thank you very much!
