Kristen’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary—and now, she’s approaching a critical and hopeful milestone in her fight against a rare and metastatic cancer.
In February 2024, Kristen was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer affecting her pancreas and liver, a condition so rare it impacts less than 1% in a million. Her tumors caused Cushing’s Syndrome, leading to severe and life-threatening symptoms that turned her world upside down almost overnight.
Despite everything, Kristen has faced each challenge with incredible strength and determination.
In December 2024, she underwent major surgery to remove a softball-sized tumor from her liver. That surgery brought incredible progress—once the tumor was removed, Kristen’s cortisol levels returned to normal. While her body is still healing from the lasting effects of Cushing’s, Kristen has shown incredible determination and has been able to return to work.
While this was a huge victory, the tumor on her pancreas could not be removed at the time. Since then, Kristen has endured 20 rounds of chemotherapy—continuing to fight even when the odds felt uncertain.
By October 2025, doctors believed the tumor had not responded enough for surgery and in January 2026 advised that she stop her chemotherapy treatments. But Kristen trusted her instincts and chose to keep going for 3 more rounds of chemo.
That decision changed everything.
Her most recent CT scan revealed that the tumor has shrunk by approximately 20–25% since September 2025—an outcome that surprised even her medical team. What once seemed inoperable is now giving way to hope.
On April 24, 2026, Kristen will undergo surgery to remove the pancreatic tumor, affected lymph nodes, and a remaining spot on her liver. Her surgeon is now highly confident in a successful outcome.
This surgery represents a major turning point—but it also comes with new challenges.
Kristen will be unable to work for at least 6 weeks during her recovery and will rely on disability benefits, resulting in a significant reduction in income. As medical expenses continue and everyday bills don’t stop, the financial strain is growing.
We are asking for support to help ease this burden so Kristen can focus on what matters most: healing and recovery.
Any donation, no matter the size, or even sharing this page, makes a meaningful difference. Your continued prayers, love, and encouragement have carried Kristen this far—and we are so grateful.
Let’s keep fighting together.
