Hello everyone! Kim, my mom, my best friend, has been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) in her left breast with lymph node carcinoma. We are in the beginning stages of treatment and our entire family is terrified, to say the least. We know this will be a rough and long journey but we also know she’s a fighter. My mom has fought for our entire family her whole life and I want to be able to at least take a bit of worry off her shoulders. She’s our foundation for everything. The only thing she’s ever wanted in her whole life was to have a family. Our beautiful blended family of 6 is tighter than a knot. Kim is our rock, our advice giver, our best friend, our confidant, and our hero.
As difficult as it is to ask, we are asking for help in funding this scary journey. Our most significant trouble right now is keeping up financially. There are so many costs and because of aggressive cancer, she needs aggressive treatment. One treatment is almost $11,000. She gets weekly treatment for the next 6 months. Treatment is about 30 minutes from home so the costs of gas are also in consideration.
My mom has been our main caregiver my whole life and my dad served this great country for over 21 years in the Navy. I would love to be able to give back at least a fraction of what they’ve sacrificed for us.
