Rescuer Needs Our Help

Jill Erny is an angel on earth for the animals. She volunteers so much of her time and she and her husband always give generously to help the local rescue community. Jill also works for an animal control who places animals with rescues rather than euthanizing them. She fights so hard for the homeless "throw away" dogs and cats in our community. Many of us have rescued side by side with her. 

On Friday, November 16th, tragedy struck her family. Her dog and a dog she saved from euthanasia had a serious altercation. This resulted in the loss of one of the dogs and serious injuries for Jill. Both of her hands were badly injured. She lost part of a finger and had to have a plate put in the other hand. 

Jill will not be able to work for quite some time. We are asking for donations, which will go directly to Jill, to help her with her living expenses and medical needs. Jill does not have paid sick days and will suffer a significant loss of income. She is emotionally devastated by the loss of Gator. We cant bring him back but we can take some of the burden off of her shoulders by giving her one less thing to deal with. Any amount is appreciated.
