I was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer back in 2010. After surgery, I did chemo and was told I was clear...no more neuroendicrine carcinoma.

In August of 2014, I found a lump in my right breast. After a mammogram and a biopsy I was diagnosed with ductal breast cancer. I decide to go to a specialist in San Francisco. After an MRI, they found more lumps in my left breast as well. I went through eight rounds of chemo; lost all my hair again and had a double mastectomy done. Pathology reports came back saying it wasn't breast cancer but neuroendicrine carcinoma, the same thing I had 4 years ago! The doctors where baffled by this because they have never seen it present itself in the breast. The good news was that they were sure they got it all during the surgery. In spite of their confidence, they still ordered a full body radio tracer pet/ct scan to check rest of my body.

I got the results same day as scan and the news was not good at all. My oncologist explained what she could to me and told me that she was referring me to a new doctor. My body is covered in neuroendicrine tumors. It's in my bones everywhere; little tiny spots, to areas about the size of golf balls. I was told I've had too much of the type of chemo that will kill this particular type of cancer and with that many spots surgery, is not an option.

The good news is that they are going to start me on a hormone shot that is supposed to, at least, stop cancer from growing. The bad news is that in spite of that, the doctor said that even if it stops growing I might only have days, weeks, months, maybe even years left. Unfortunately, as with most treatments, there are no guarantees.

I've always worked. I've always did what I had to, to take care if my two kids. Unfortunately, at this point the doctors say I can no longer work. I signed up for disability but what I will get each month won't cover my rent and bills. My car is falling apart so have to rely on people to take me to my doctor's appointments.

The financial problems, on top of my health problems, are piling stress on top of stress. I am doing everything I can, but it is not enough.

I am trying to raise money for 3 goals:
1. I need to get my car to the point where it is dependable
2. I need to cover our living expenses
3. I would like to have enough money to take my children to Disneyland

From what I'm told, I don’t have much time left to be with my babies. I want to give them some happy memories to hold on to after I'm gone. When that day comes, their father will care for them. In the meantime I want to be able to go, and do, and live like I'm dying, 'cuz tomorrow is never promised and I've promised my babies I'd take them to Disneyland and spend as much time playing this summer as we can.

I would have never imagined that I would ever be asking for this kind of help in this type of forum, but I never imagined I would be in this situation.

I'm so very thankful and grateful to all my wonderful friends and family who have been by my side through this all. Without them I wouldn't have been able to keep this smile and push forward. So much love for you all...
