I have created this fundraiser for myself (Team Ilona) to help with the overwhelming costs that have accrued since my breast cancer diagnosis. What a year it has been! And I’m still standing tall! And that matters!

In Oct 2019 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. What a learning journey this has been! Jan 2020, I had a double mastectomy.
Dealing with the challenges of continued cancer care, many post surgery complications, not feeling well yet, and a global pandemic has definitely been a devastating financial bump in the road.
It’s taken me awhile to reach out and ask for help since I am fiercely independent, being single my whole life. Through many prayers, I am at peace reaching out to friends to help. It’s very humbling and I’ve learned that is a strength and not a weakness. It allows God to open doors that only He can do!
The funds will be used for medical bills, expenses for basic living needs, and for ongoing medical care.
