The Gritstone Trail for Team Hasler MND

Donation protected
We're walking the Gritstone Trail (Alex Callow and I) to raise funds for our dear friend and colleague, Rob Hasler, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in October last year.

Alex's daughter was lucky enough to be taught by him last year and she really enjoyed his sense of humour, enthusiasm and understanding. Rob is one of the most positive, inspiring and empathetic people we know. His advice and understanding was invaluable in helping my own children through their teenage years. He is passionate about teaching and continues to teach at Dean Valley, wanting to help every child shine and now shares his skills and experiences to help the wider MND community through his video diaries and researching what technology can enable and make a positive difference to people's lives. He shows such positivity and resilience and seizes every opportunity to make the most of life.

Any money we can raise will go directly to Rob to help with private neuro-physio sessions, costs of assistive technology and adaptations to his living environment to help improve his quality of life.

We are going to walk the trail in 3 parts the first 3 Sundays in August (3rd, 10th and 17th). It will take us from Disley to Kidsgrove, passing through Bollington, Tegg's Nose and Congleton, a total of 35 miles and reaching a height of 410 metres.

Please support us in our challenge by donating any amount to Rob's fund, it will make a huge difference to him and his family.

We did it, completed the Gritstone Trail on 28th September!
