Anti-Trafficking Awareness -Team DX

On May 16, 2015, Team DX Triathlon will compete in the 2015 Ironman Texas event in the Woodlands to raise awareness for the battle against human sex trafficking in Houston.   Houston has been named by the Department of Justice as one of the top jurisdictions in the United States for human sex trafficking, an industry that generates over $9.5 billion annually in the U.S.   The DOJ estimates that approximately 300,000 children are at risk of being prostituted in the U.S. and that the average age of entry into prostitution for a child victim in the United States is 13-14 years old.
