For the third year in a row as a proud member of Team Drea, I am raising money for ALS research in honor of my friend, Andrea Peet, who was diagnosed with ALS at the age 33. In just two years, my friends and family have raised $7,190 for ALS research! This year, Andrea will traveling to Columbus to compete in the Nationwide Marathon on October 15th and I am so excited to participate alongside her-- for the first 13.1 miles anyway! My goal is BIG this year-- $5,000. All funds will be donated to the Team Drea Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Andrea and her husband Dave to fund and support bold, innovative research to find a cure or effective treatment for ALS. The Team Drea Foundation sees raising awareness about this devastating disease as an opportunity to inspire people to live bravely, love joyfully, and appreciate the gift of life.
