Support Doug Silflow with all his medical expenses
This fundraiser is for the Silflow family while they battle a long journey ahead of them. Let’s face it CANCER SUCKS! And is extremely expensive!
Doug Silflow is the most selfless man I’ve ever known! Always putting others before himself, including his wife Denise and children Nick, Tiffany, Brock and Jack! Doug recently has been diagnosed with stage 4 advanced prostate cancer that has metastasize into his bladder wall, lymph nodes and cervical spine. Doug has his armor on and is ready to face this battle head on!! He has always worked very long hours to make sure his family’s needs were met and bills were paid. Unfortunately, Doug hasn’t been able to work for months as his health kept declining before finding out his diagnosis. And now, unable to work, the bills keep coming.
Doug and his wife Denise travel back and forth from Kendrick to Coeur d’Alene for his chemo treatments, Dr. appointments and CT scans. These trips result in additional expenses but are warranted as they result in superior care to fight this battle.
Most of his treatments and medication are paid for out of pocket, due to inadequate insurance for this unexpected situation. And they still have a long road ahead of them. Denise continues to work very hard but her income alone is not enough to cover the massive medical expenses and day to day living expenses.
