A Mother’s Love A mother’s love is beyond words. The bond between a mother and a child is unconditional and eternal. There’s no love greater than a mother’s love. Our sister Cang Keo gave birth to a beautiful, wonderful, and special baby boy named Darius. Darius was such an innocent soul, an angel and a blessing that was given to us from above. He was our first born nephew and we loved him just the way he was, he was perfect and pure. Darius was diagnosed with Autism Disorder and he was non-verbal. Even with the challenges he faced, he didn’t need words to bring joy and hapiness to our lives. He was a happy child. He loved the beach, his tablet, his snacks, and had a thing about collecting things in pairs. He enjoyed being home with his family, especially with his mother who he loved more than anything in this world. Darius never left the house without his school bag which he carried with him everywhere he went. He packed his backpack for the last time on March 9th and brought it with him to hospital. Inside his bag he made sure he had his favorite toys and he made sure to pack toys for his baby sister. He was an amazing brother, son and nephew that showed us the true meaning of unconditional love. He brought happiness to our family. He has impacted our lives in so many ways and we will cherish every moment we were so grateful to have with him. On March 8th, 2019, Darius contracted a rare case of the flu, which turned into MRSA pneumonia which took his life. He was extremely sick, and the doctors @ Tufts Floating Children’s Hospital in Boston did all they could to save his life. He spent 19 days in PICU fighting for his life, he fought so hard for us. He passed on Thursday March 28th, 2019. He took his last breath at 6:06PM. We were all there right there with him and it was the hardest thing we all had to do. He was only 14. May his soul be at ease and may he rest peacefully until we all meet again. Let the sound of his laughter linger on and let his smile be imprinted in our memories and our hearts. We never thought we would have to lay himto rest so young. The pain of losing a child is something that no parent should ever have to feel. Our hearts die for our sister everytime we look at her because we can see how broken she is inside. We are asking for your help and support so we can raise enough money to give Darius the best burial we can. Please help us get through this suffering. May God bless your children and your families. Please reach out to Bora Keo or Kellie Earle if you would like to attend Darius’s services.
