Team Jakota - It takes a community

Dakota is a sweet and brave 10 year old boy who recently got diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymblastic Leukemia ( ALL) and is... proving to be a fighter.

Although in and out of hospital his Mom Jaclyn has not been able to go back to work proving difficult with finances. We are going big and bold and asking for help during this difficult time to help assist with the bills that come with the journey associated with cancer.

 

Jaclyn writes:

“..It is difficult to articulate the emotions one goes through when learning that their only child is going through a life threatening experience.  I truly believe our life is like a book, we all have chapters that collectively tell our story.  This is just so happens to be another chapter in ours…Although, through this challenging time I must acknowledge I am in AWE of the love and support of my friends and colleagues “
 

It takes a community to uphold someone in time of need and provide comfort wither it a warm hug, a listening ear or financial support. Your donations will assist with the extra cost of living in between Childrens Hospital and Home, the extra costs of medicine and ensuring they can pay rent for their home while Jaclyn is enduring this journey with her son away from work.
