John Tiefry was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon cancer on February 13, 2017. Since the diagnosis he has underwent a Colectomy removing a 7cm tumor along with approx 1 foot of colon.
The family recently made a trip to MD Anderson in Dallas, TX that did give them great news. The chemotherapy regiman at MDA would be identical to the treatments that will be provided here at Cox Branson, so John can recover at home. On 3/22/17 John will be starting his chemo treatments. The plan is for 12 bi-weekly, 4 to 5 hour chemo infusions followed by 48 hours at home on chemo pump.
These treatments and recovery will take time away from John running his own business "Tiefry and Co. Finishes" and cause some financial burden for the family. Any donations will help cover medical expenses and any void they may have financially during this period. Prayers are greatly appreciated. As daughter Lauren says #TeamDad is going to beat cancer!!
