Words from Cathy Chadwick:
My husband, Robert Samples, my companion, closest friend and staunchest ally for almost 27 years- was killed in a car accident on August 29. He loved me and our children and grandchild beyond measure. Nothing made him happier than to have this big, crazy, loud, spirited family, even on the weekends when he had to drag himself out of the house at 630 am to get to get our kids to a hockey game on time. He took good care of me (when I would let him). He had my back, no questions asked, even when I was wrong. He would literally give the shirt off his back for anyone. He had the biggest, softest heart I have ever seen. He loved the Green Bay Packers and Indiana University Basketball. He has left a giant hole in our lives and hearts. Hold your people close, hug them, like them and love them everyday. I truly appreciate all the prayers, thoughts and notes people are sending.

One of Cathy’s major concerns is how she will manage the demands of being a single Mom after the dust settles. She has identified three areas where outside assistance would be invaluable in the long term.
-Help with keeping the house clean
-Help with cleaning up/maintaining the yard
-Getting her kids to events/school when she is unavailable
These funds will be used to help relieve a little bit of pressure off Cathy and her amazing kids for what comes next as they heal from this unimaginable loss.
