My name is Celeste Pineda and I am the mother of Jan Carlo P. Ochoa. He is 18 years old and is supposed to be an incoming aero mechanic student this coming school year. Unfortunately, yesterday, May 31, 2019, at approximately 4pm, he suddenly had a projectile vomiting and seizures. He was rushed to Angeles University Foundation (AUF) ER and was diagnosed to have Arteriovenous Malformations (AVM), an abnormal formation of blood vessels where the arterial blood bypasses capillaries and reaches the veins. A large tumor in the right side of his brain was found. This has caused him to be in a comatose condition in intensive care unit (ICU) at AUF hospital and needs an urgent brain surgery.

Any mother would do everything to save her child’s life. This is an unexpected mishap in our family and I would never wish this to happen to anybody. In the hopes of surviving this heartbreaking tragedy in our family, any financial assistance is greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small of help you can give.
