Caroline’s Story:

I had a closed heart, soul and mind that placed me right into – the Fabulous 40’s Single’s Club. I enjoy spending time with great friends and having a great career, however, the good single life I was living, was missing one important element to life: a True Love. But I refused to settle for anything but the best for me.

Until this gentle soul walks into my life, and with little help from my friend, I took off my glasses and opened my heart! I finally found one man that I can trust in; first man (outside of my dad) that I respect and fell in love with. AL THIMANN is my FIRST TRUE LOVE!

Al swooped me off my feet without asking who I am or where I came from – he just gave me all of him. Al accepted me for my past, appreciates me for the present person that I am, and excited (equally as I am) for the anticipation of the woman I will become in the future.

I will walk down the aisle towards him as a single woman and as God as my witness, commit to become his Forever!

I’m beyond speechless and honored for you to give us such a priceless gift – the GREATEST GIFT OF ALL – your TIME & LOVE to share in the moment when we say “I do” in front of God, friends and family. There is nothing else I would want nor need.

Al's Story:

For many of you that have been around me know that for the past several years you understand that taking this big step towards marriage was never a part of any equation.  Especially after life gives you struggles and heartaches but yet family always said son, nephew, cousin whoever it was "keep your chin up" and great things will come, boy how long do I have to wait? 

Little did I know that coming back to sunny California would enable me to start fresh and perhaps meet my soul mate?  One can only dream of the fairy tale ending but without any prejudice and without looking there she was, standing by herself smoking a cigarette minding her own business.

It did not take me long to break the awkwardness of speaking to someone especially at a food event where I forst the first time in a unwelcomed city felt actually comfortable within my own skin, and so since March 22, 2014 the love of my life Caroline Kim and I have been totally inseparable.

I am grateful to you all as many of you have insisted on a wedding gift. Your generosity is overwhelming. Your gift will be used towards our honeymoon as we start our beautiful life together as one.

The funds that we collect through this platform will be used for honeymoon fun stuff like golfing, spa, zip lining, and more importantly awesome food - after all she is a foodie and I am a chef.
