This fundraiser is to directly help impact a huge mission for Brittany as I am sure anyone who is reading this has been incredibly impacted by Brittany. She chose to live life on purpose and I saw her LIVE more the last three years with such intentionality and never ever let cancer steal her joy from living, traveling, and being surrounded by her coaching community and the people she loved. We all have stories about the incredible impact and the amazing memories she has left on our hearts.
Our brave Brittany lost her battle to stage 3c ovarian cancer which had spread throughout her body. She was diagnosed in December 2016 at the age of 27, but ALWAYS put up a fight no matter what she was battling. One thing she said over and over again was that cancer would never steal her joy, so she truly LIVED. And as she lived, a community surrounded her and her message was and still is all over Instagram as well as through different events she became apart of. Her writing, her messages, and her testament to standing strong in faith were share numerous times by others. You can find her posts on Instagram @_brittany_crosby_
While many people (including friends and family) have surrounded her, became part of her voice, and prayer warriors--there is one person who showed up for Brittany and took care of her through all the hills and valleys. This would be her husband Rees. Such an incredible man that has been completely selfless. So the first part of this gofundme campaign is to make sure Rees has no financial burdens to cover any remaining medical bills and other financial needs.
We also wish that a percentage of these donations are donated to Brittany's Ovarian Cancer charity of choice---Colleen's Dream. Not only do they bring awareness to others about the signs, symptoms, and more about ovarian cancer, but Brittany had been closely tied to this foundation over the last few years. You can find more info at https://www.colleensdream.org
We are truly grateful for any monetary donation you are able to make at this time. But most importantly, we know Brittany would want us all to get out and keep on living life on purpose. If you utilize social media, and want to bring honor to Brittany's life in how you're bringing joy use to hashtag #livelifeonpurpose so we can blow this community up. We know how much community meant to her.
Love,
Team Brittany
