Team Brayden

My name is Tommy DiBrino and I am asking for help in raising money for my nephew, Brayden Strecker, who was diagnosed with cancer, B-cell ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) back in August 2018. This has been a life changing event for our whole family, and it has been tough to watch and accept. It has been especially rough on Brayden, who has fought through the early stages of treatment and is on a 3-year program for what is hopefully a complete recovery.

Last August, Brayden was having a play date and did not look right to Lisa, his mother (my sister). Lisa took him to their family doctor who then recommended they go to CHOP and warned against a possible viral infection. That same night at CHOP, the doctors informed Lisa that Brayden had cancer. They immediately started his treatments where he was hospitalized for about 4 weeks and appointments were twice a week for the first 60 days. These were long 12-hour days that included chemo, spinal taps, blood transfusions, etc.

Any money raised from this site will go directly towards Brayden’s medical expenses and personal needs. Your support will help him maintain a decent quality of life as he battles through his 3-year program. Brayden has one older brother, Billy Strecker, who is 9 years old and one younger brother, Bentley Strecker, who is 2 years old. The three boys have an incredible connection and it really is something special to watch them together.

It means so much to me to try and help my family in any way possible, which being in California has limited my ability to lend a helping hand. So, starting this GoFundMe campaign is the least I can do, with hopes that it provides Brayden and his family some comfort through these tough times.

Finally, I just want to say thank you for anyone who can help out. The constant love and support that our family has received since the beginning of this process has been astronomical.
