Braxton Weidman suffered a seizure in September of 2020 and was diagnosed with a brain tumor the next day. After undergoing immediate brain surgery, Brandie and Chris learned that Braxton had glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive type of brain cancer. Although Braxton is facing a tough road, he is such a fighter! He has undergone 2 brain surgeries to remove parts of the tumor since he was diagnosed and both times he has amazed his doctors, family, friends and supporters with his determination to dominate this treatment and beat his illness. It goes without saying that Braxton’s family are committed and focused on providing him the best care and treatment possible. Every penny donated will go directly to Chris and Brandie to help offset the costs (medical and otherwise) that they will incur as Braxy moves through this process. Brandie and Chris have both taken leaves of absence from their jobs for the time being while they focus on working with Braxton’s medical team to get him the best treatment for his diagnosis.
