Team Bella-Family/Medical Expenses

Donation protected
I am the sister of a wonderful brother. My brother and his family are so humble. They are struggling to make ends meet while caring for my niece Bella who is suffering from a rare brain cancer.
The money from your gracious donations will be used for the family's living expenses and medical expenses for Bella.  Her parents are not working and are not focused on anything except giving Bella the best days she can have. Bella is my precious niece. I am trying to help the family by setting up this account. Bella has a beautiful family full of love. Anyone that knows them have felt the love this family has. The whole family is trying to do what they can for Bella. Any amounts exceeding what is needed in the household  and medical bills will be donated for research of DIPG cures and treatments.

6 year old Isabelle (Bella) Adams is fighting a rare brain tumor called DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). It is a disease which strikes childhood and it is in desperate need of a cure.
DIPG is a highly aggressive and difficult to treat brain tumor found at the base of the brain. DIPG affects the pons portion of the brainstem. The pons control many of the body's vital functions therefore cannot be operated on. It is one of the most resistant of all cancers to chemotherapy treatments. Approximately 300 children are diagnosed with DIPG each year. DIPG's are usually diagnosed when children are between 5 and 9. But they can occur at any age in childhood.
Bella was diagnosed in late April 2015. Bella’s symptoms started with neck pain and loss of balance.  A visit to the ER found the tumor and her journey began.  Bella's tumor grew rapidly and started to bleed. The doctor's prepared us for the worst. One morning Bella woke up from ICU and said "GOD sent me back". At that time her health started to get better. Bella began to talk again. After many more days at the hospital in and out of ICU Bella explained to her father that she was ready to go home. That was the day she went into surgery to get a shunt put in to drain the fluids off her brain. She told her Dad that GOD was taking too long and he needed to hurry up.  She wanted to go home. We did not think going home was anywhere in the plan at that moment. The surgery was a success and the doctors told the family that Bella could go home within the week. God does answer prayers.
Bella went through 6 weeks of radiation. (The only treatment that could be given for her since her tumor bled early in her diagnosis.) Shortly after Bella was at home walking and talking again. She is such a joy to be around. She was approved to go overseas to visit her family in Vietnam. The Make a Wish Foundation sent the family there for a week. They actually stayed longer with family so that she could enjoy the cousins and friends over there. The family came back at the beginning of November with many pictures and memories. It is now December and Bella's health is failing again. We thought she would be able to start a trial medication but she is not strong enough and her health is deteriorating quickly.
If you are reading this story please say a prayer for Bella and the family. Your donations mean so much to us. Paying bills and keeping up with life is hard enough without having an ill child. I am so gracious to  you for helping take the burden off of them. Thanks so much!
