Shane McManus Rollover Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On Sunday July 7th Shane McManus was involved in a horrific car accident. A rear tire blew out on his 1968 Bronco while trying to return home from camping. Shane lost control of the vehicle and rolled it over the guard rail on I-70 EB just a few miles east of the Eisenhower Tunnel in the Colorado mountains. He was taken Flight for Life to St. Anthony's Hospital in Lakewood, CO and has been there for the last 10 days. He was driving with the flow of traffic (under the speed limit) and thankfully no other vehicles were involved.
He unfortunately sustained many injuries and will be facing medical bills and be unable to work for an undetermined amount of time while he is recovering.
Shane's injuries include: left arm broken in 4 pieces which required surgery, facial lacerations, several broken teeth, a broken nose, broken optical bone, 5 broken ribs, and a 1.5mm crack in his C5 (neck). If his neck doesn't begin to heal naturally in a week or if the crack grows, Shane will also have to have surgery on his neck. He is going to need physical therapy once he is out of the hospital and many other doctor appointments a head of him.

We are raising funds to help Shane with his medical bills and personal expenses (mortgage, student loans, transportation, pet care, etc.) while being unable to work and drive. Shane also has his 2 year old German Shepard, Lumen, to take care of and her leg/ hip was injured in the accident and will need additional medical care.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity in this time of need. It really does mean the world to Shane.
