We need your help to make our dreams come true! We are Team Optix, Del Norte’s FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team, and we have qualified for the FRC World Championships in Houston! We are one of the top 4% of teams around the world that made it to this prestigious competition, and we need your support to get there.

As the Del Norte High School robotics club, we inspire students to pursue careers in STEM fields by offering opportunities for them to fully design a robot on their own, developing important core skills such as leadership and teamwork. The FIRST Robotics Competition has over 110 countries participating around the globe with 9000 teams that play in their tournaments, and we are honored to represent our school and community at the World Championships.

To attend the World Championships, we need to raise an additional $10,000 to cover expenses such as hotel lodging, flights, transport at the competition, shipping the robot, and the registration fee. Your support will not only help us attend the World Championships, but also inspire the future generations of Del Norte’s student body. We are eager to bring our Nighthawk spirit to the global stage, but we cannot do it without your help.
