It all starts in January, when our team will attend the FRC Kickoff at Stony Brook University. It is there that we find out the this year's FRC challenge. From there we have six weeks to prototype, design, construct, wire and program a robot for competition. The money raised through Kickstarter will be used to buy the materials and tools needed to create the 2016 robot.
Skills our team members learn:
Financial Planning/ Fiscal Responsibility
Students learn to fundraise throughout the year to ensure that there are funds for materials to build the robot, to enter each competition and maintain a safe and functioning shop.
Design
Students work with Engineers to use CAD to design all aspects of the robot.
Machining and Production

Electrical Engineering
Students work with Electrical Engineers to wire all the components to power the robot.
Computer Programming
Students learn how to program the robot to do the task that it needs to.
Community Outreach

The money raised on gofundme will be used to buy the supplies, materials and tools to construct this year's robot.
