What are we doing?

The Wolf Pack Running Club have come together and entered a team into the Cowshed Back Yard Ultra, in Stocksfield on Saturday 20th September.

We are raising much needed funds for two amazing charities, being The Cheesey Waffles Project and St Cuthberts Hospice.

The five brave souls who are taking on the challenge of running 4.2 mile loops, on the hour every hour are Steve Jack, Dave Mortemore, Leon Curry, James Futers and Peter Woods. The running starts at 10am and literally stops when we drop. There is no end time and it’s the last man/woman standing who wins.

Basically, if we run 24hrs, that’ll be 100 miles and you can be certain that we’ll be putting in every effort in to run as far as we can. It’s going to be hard work but we’ll help each other, knowing our hard work will ultimately help two brilliant causes.

We have support from the amazing pair of Laura and Lucy who will make sure we are fed and watered for the duration of the time.

In addition to this, Wolf Pack legends Helen, John and James are heading to the highlands of Scotland on 28th September to take on the Loch Ness 10km run, again hoping to raise money for our great charities. They’ll be amazing. 

Our Charities

St Cuthbert’s Hospice support people with advanced illness, people approaching the end of their lives and people who have been bereaved.

The Cheesy Waffles Project is a registered charity for children, young people and adults with additional needs from across County Durham. Although our project is predominantly for people with learning disabilities it is not exclusive to, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Any donation, even the price of a coffee would be massively appreciated to help these two wonderful causes.
