Dear family and friends,

As most of you know, on August 15, Lindsay and Chris's family welcomed twin girls, Vera and Waverly, into the world—far too early at just 22 weeks gestation, and just 4 weeks after a move across the country. These tiny miracles were born far too soon but came into this world fighting with all the strength their tiny bodies could give.

With broken hearts, we share that sweet baby Vera passed away at just 8 days old. She was deeply loved, and we carry her in our hearts every single day.

Her twin sister, Waverly, continues to fight for her life in the NICU with unimaginable strength. She faces a long and uncertain road ahead—filled with surgeries, treatments, and constant medical care. Every hour is a battle, and every small step forward is a hard-won victory, and she has had many.

Between gas, tolls, meals away from home, and other related expenses, the costs are quickly adding up and the stress is overwhelming—but your support can ease some of that burden so they can focus on Waverly's care and the care of the other girls during this ever-changing situation. This is an ask that lays heavily on their hearts as they find themselves needing help when they are used to giving help.
