In the beginning of June, my mom, Vicky Johnson (often referred to as VJISB - Vicky Johnson Is So Beautiful) started having some medical concerns.
Long story short... The left side of her body (primarily her arm) was "twitching" without her control. She also started mentally going to a place that was so unlike her - sad, angry, emotional. It progressively got worse, to a point that medical attention was necessary. Countless ER visits, urgent care stops, hospital stays, & tests still leave us with no answers as to what is causing this. The doctors are all dumbfounded, as are we.
Because of this, my mom has been out of work for months now. My dad, Craig, who works for himself, has also had to take time off work to care for her and bring her to all her doctors appointments.
Many have asked how to help, and we've mention a handful of ways, but now is the time to ask for the hardest thing...financial help.
My parents have gone from two incomes to now less than one because my dad hasn't been able to work. The medical bills, along with daily life bills, are starting to pile up.
This has been such an emotional and draining journey. We are hopeful that the answer is out there and praying it comes soon. But until then, we are soaking in VJISB as she is, in every season.
We cherish ALL of you! If one things is certain, we have one solid support system, and my mom has reiterated her gratitude for that countless times. We couldn't do this alone, so thank you!
