In March 2021, Vicky was diagnosed with Stage III Esophageal Cancer. She was frightened and in shock with this news. She is going to fight this with all she's got.  We are asking for your help. Vicky will have to undergo several months of chemotherapy and radiation, followed by surgery. All of this will be costly.  As most of you know, the bills for cancer and its treatments are astronomical. Insurance will not fully cover these medical bills.  Vicky's financial needs will accumulate as she undergoes this fight. She has a long battle ahead of her and with a lot of unknowns.  Physicians have expressed that she will not be able to work for several months during this process.  Vicky recently moved back home to Michigan from California, and as such, has only had her current position at work since January.  Her PTO has already been exhausted for doctor appointments and testing.  Any financial support you can offer is invaluable as Vicky should not bear the financial burden, but instead focus on her health and healing.
