Team Vicki: Kickin' the Big C

Vicki Wilson- daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend- received a diagnosis of Stage 4 small-cell Lung Cancer in December 2019. The cancer has metastasized to her bones, lymph nodes, and liver. Our feisty friend’s medical team believe the cancer has been growing for a number of years. 

Currently, Vicki is undergoing injections of Lanreotide, along with frequent appointments, tests, and procedures. In 3-6 months, Vicki’s doctors will reassess to determine if radiation is also necessary to help shrink the tumors.

Vicki has already brought her characteristic conviction to the situation, and we know she is strong enough to fight this battle. For the moments where she doesn’t feel as strong as we know her to be, and for the cumbersome financial toll such treatment will take, let’s rally around her.
