Jake Tompkins is known for being a great father, devoted husband, a friend to all, and serves as Captain of his local Police Department. He lives a full life, while balancing all of the roles he plays and hats he wears. His constant jokes and willingness to help others in need almost make it easy to forget the fight he’s in the midst of.

Jake is currently battling Round 2 of Metastatic Melanoma. This round of the fight will require their family to travel back and forth to M.D. Anderson several times before they begin to prepare for a 5-7 week stay for him to receive the treatment he needs to help him beat this. The funds will be used to help ease financial burdens of keeping up with their home and home away from home, allowing them to focus on their family and healing.
