For anyone who has been blessed by Todd Vander Molen, knows he lives every day of his life this way. From his infectious smile, to being treated like a best friend, he shines Jesus’ light in every situation.

Todd has blessed many people in his life and we are all better off by knowing him. For a man who makes his community better daily, this community now has the opportunity to support Todd and his family in their time of need.

This journey began about a year ago when Todd started having intense pain in his stomach occasionally after eating. Many tests were run, and doctor appointments were visited to figure out where the pain was stemming from. It had been a long journey even before finding out he has cancer. After an ultrasound in March, cysts were found on Todd's liver. We were told that results showed the cysts were nothing to worry about and he would only need to have check ups yearly to make sure they didn’t change. Thanks to Angie's strong will and determination, she wasn’t comfortable with that answer and got a second opinion. Todd went in to have a biopsy and MRI done on Monday, May 24, 2021 and that Friday, the 28th we got the call that the cysts on his liver were in fact cancerous.

As you can imagine this news has changed our lives and our perspective on what is truly important in this earthly life. Please shower our family with prayers. As we continue to walk this journey, we know the Creator has a plan and we trust in His plan.

We are going to fight. We are going to fight hard. Fighting hard has many daily obstacles including financial obstacles.
