Tera's family has set up this Go Fund Me page on her behalf. A loving friend, sister, daughter, and devoted mother. As many of you know cancer is no new territory for Tera. Mercey, Tera's daughter fought all 3 years of her life against Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Tera's inspiration and strength comes from watching her daughter go thru treatment with a smile and hope the whole way.
Tera is a mother to three beautiful children, Mercey, Ryan and Lily. She continues to intermittently work as she feels up to it to keep some sort of normalcy. Unfortunately, the chemo is keeping her sick and home a lot more of the time than she had originally hoped. She has had and will continue this very long road ahead but we know she has got this.
On January 2, 2019 Tera was diagnosed with Stage II Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Tera's specific type of breast cancer is HER2-postitive. It is a more aggressive type of breast cancer, but it is also a form of breast cancer that thankfully responds well to Chemo and Targeted Gene Therapy.
Tera is currently in treatment and receiving four chemo's/targeted therapies to obtain clean margins. Once chemo is complete she will have mastectomy surgery then on to reconstructive surgery once healing period is complete. Her very last surgery will be a hysterectomy as breast cancer is linked to ovarian cancer.
The funding from your contributions will go directly towards assisting Tera with basic living expenses while out on disability, groceries, prescription cost, uninsured medical expenses, medical co-pays, and any other needs directly related to her care.
With her family all the way in West Texas and New Mexico, her friends and family are pulling together to help support her through this next chapter. We ask that if you can give, please do. There is no such thing as a small donation and every little bit is a blessing for her.
She will need all the love and support to carry through. She has touched so many with her strong spirit and bright smile. It's now our turn to show her how loved she is and give her the added strength she needs to beat cancer.
