Team Teflon Softball is a travel softball team aimed at serving underserved communities. Our goal is to help female athletes achieve athlete scholarships through the game of softball, creating a pipeline to college. We are currently in the process of looking to lease a building that we can turn into a Teflon practice facility. We will call it "Teflon Academy." Our girls are committed, and we want to give them a place they can call "home." This facility will be used for team practices, hitting lessons, pitching lessons, catching lessons, study hall, tutoring, mental health sessions and will provide a safe- haven for travel softball players in the Chicagoland and NWI community. Again, we truly appreciate any and every contribution from Charities. We will utilize every penny to further the play and life-building skills for our young athletes.

In the few short years of Teflon’s existence, Teflon has proven competitive against longstanding programs and built a reputation for being a program with great sportsmanship. While wins are not the only marker in a team’s success, Teflon has shown a marked improvement in the win column. Since starting up three years ago, we have committed four kids to college on athletic commitments! We started a 10u, 12u and high school team expanding from one team to an entire program. We have won two 1st place finishes, two co-champion titles, three 2nd place finishes and one 3rd place finish throughout the past three years. As a program, we are currently 38-29-2, which is a winning percentage of over 50%. Our 14u was also ranked in the Top 50 Teams in the Midwest in 2023, our very first year of travel softball! We are one of the only minority travel softball programs in the entire Midwest, and we are constantly receiving praise and compliments wherever we compete. The girls attend each other's birthday parties, prom sends-off and senior nights. We've created a Teflon family, and it is truly something special to see.
