Team Tashima: No One Should Fight Cancer Alone
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
I’m reaching out to ask for help for my beloved cousin, Tashima—a devoted single mother to her 8-year-old son, Langston, and my best friend for 41 years. Tashima’s life has been completely disrupted by her second battle of cancer this year. She went through surgery and months of recovery, and after months of clean scans, the cancer returned. She recently endured another grueling surgery and now faces 18 weeks of chemotherapy.

As she fights for her health, she’s had to take another medical leave of absence from work, leaving her with little financial support. She is still trying to crawl out of the financial hole caused by her previous bout with cancer, making this new challenge even harder to face. Funds raised will help cover housing expenses, medications, and childcare costs, ensuring Langston can continue his extracurricular activities, bringing him a sense of normalcy during this difficult time.

Even when Tashima is battling excruciating pain, she still shows up for Langston, cheering him on and being the most annoying side coach! She’s his loudest cheerleader and biggest supporter. But behind her smiles and encouragement, it breaks her heart to watch him suffer as he struggles to process everything that’s happening. To help him cope, Tashima is actively seeking a child therapist in the New York area. If you know of someone, please share on this page or send her the information directly—it would give her one less thing to worry about.

Over the years, Tashima has been a beacon of selflessness, always putting others before herself, even in her toughest moments. She’s the kind of person who would give her last to help someone in need, no matter her own silent struggles. Despite facing relentless challenges, she remains resilient, uplifting everyone around her with her unwavering positivity. Now, Tashima is facing a long and difficult road ahead, and the last thing she should have to worry about is financial strain.

Let’s come together to support the woman who has always been there for others. Every contribution helps lighten her load and shows her that she’s not alone. Let’s give back to someone who has given so much.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this campaign can also help tremendously. Together, we can ensure Tashima can focus on healing without the burden of financial strain.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.

With gratitude,
