My name is Angelica Miller. My son is Tarique Butler who suffers from a condition called Herieditary Angioedema. It's a life threatening condition that has no known triggers and also occurs 1 in 10,000 people . Hereditary Angioedema is known as H.A.E which is a rare condition that's causes recurring and serve swelling to various parts of his body. Tarique was diagnosed at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital In Fort Lauderdale in 2014 . The treatment for his condition is very costly especially when it's not available in our country Nassau, Bahamas . Every 6 months Tarique has to travel to the United States for appointments and examinations which is also very costly. Tarique medical expenses are very high. Tarique was admitted to I.C.U. in Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2019 when he had a terrible attack . I also recieved a bill of $70,1119.80 for admission at hospital. Tarique's medication today costs approximately $6,382.80 per dosage which he needs for each episode that occurs. Depending on the severity he requires 3 dosages or more .Today in total Tarique expenses are over $100,000.00 and he has to return urgently to the states for treatment and medications. Tarique condition is ongoing and as his mother I'm asking for assistance for any help in the aid of Tarique medical care to satisfy this debt and try to secure ongoing treatment and medications as well .
