Our work family member, Tammie Fagerlund, is facing the battle of her life, having been recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.

If you have ever met Tammie, then you know about her incredible giving spirit.  She always makes time for patients and parents alike, never hesitating to go above and beyond to provide whatever they need.

For many years, Tammie has been active in the Yelm community.  Volunteering countless hours for "Dollars for Scholars" and helping students and families in her local community.

For all of us at Dr. Kapust's office, she has always been our "go-to" gal for the endless knowledge and experience she has.  She has been a vital part of everything we do for 40 amazing years now!

Tammie has undergone one surgery and several rounds of chemo so far.  While going through treatment, we've truly missed her around the office as we don't get to see her smiling face as often.

Her battle is far from done.  Her journey will include more chemo and surgery, all the while helping her husband Wayne through his own debilitating Parkinson's disease diagnosis.  He too, is unable to work full time.  Even with medical insurance, the out of pocket expenses have drained their resources.  It's become very difficult to recover through any sustained employment income.

Please consider helping to ease their financial worry so that Tammie can concentrate on healing and recovery. Tammie is looking forward to spending time with her family, including her 1 year old grandson and another on the way!
