My mother Marian has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive, infiltrative skin cancer that has the ability to spread without it's removal. MOHS surgery is needed to remove the 8 millimeter ulceration, which can be quite the medical cost. 

All my life, my mom has always taken care of me and done amazing things for me that you wouldn't think a single parent would be able to do.

From the very beginning I have always known my mom to be one of the strongest people I have ever met.  No matter what she has faced in her life she finds a way to keep her head up and always make it through, always keeping her family above everything, even herself.

Some days I know it was tough to raise me on her own, but she never showed the struggle to me, always making an effort to make everything as normal for me as possible.

My mother has taught me the definition of strength, and I know she is strong enough to beat anything that comes her way.  My mother has always put my wants and needs above her own, which is one way her selflessness is evident.  I have gotten so many things, even things that were definitely not needed at the expense of things my mom has wanted or needed herself.  The selflessness she shows is unmatched, not only for my family, but everyone around her.  I know my mom is always willing to offer any help she can to anyone in need of help or support. 

Overall, my mother has shaped my life to make me the person I am today, and I would have been lost without her.  Thank you for your consideration and support.
