I’m Julie Robles Zuro, A life long friend of Steve Gilhooley
On May 1st-Steve experienced excruciating pain in his gut. He drove himself to the hospital. The results of a CAT Scan showed his spleen was 3x it’s normal size. The doctors were more concerned about the swollen lymph nodes in his belly.
On 5/11, he had a Lymph Node Biopsy, to determine whether he possibly had lymphoma or leukemia. The result was a nightmare, because out of all the lymphatic cancers, MCL has the shortest average survival, and is characterized by a poor prognosis. Sorry, MCL, you’ve never met Steven Brian Gilhooley! He’s a tenacious fighter, having survived an ischemic stroke in 2001, and squamous cell skin cancer in 2008. Put your boxing gloves on!
After meeting with several oncologists-Radical Chemo was advised as immediate treatment & if he did not choose this treatment his disability would stop. Steve feels strongly that he needs a more holistic approach to his treatment

In 2010, Steve created “Thoughts Heal” a non-profit, introducing Cognitive Stroke Therapy & Thought Therapy, as an alternative to help stroke survivors like himself. His motto: “To focus my mind on what I CAN DO, as opposed to what I can’t, and how to do it BEST.”
In May of 2016, Steve’s beloved little sister, Kim, the one true person who “got him”, died of lung cancer at 48yrs old. He worked tirelessly to research alternatives to chemo. The information he discovered was mind-blowing & invaluable, helping him in his own personal battle today.
Steve is a sensitive, caring, spiritual being, who truly believes in the POWER of HEALING! It is his hope to knockout the cancer with the help of The Connors Clinic- However, if chemo is inevitable, he’d like it administered *in conjunction with* The Connor Clinic methodology.
