My name is Todd M. Parisi and I am a local retired United States Marine. I have started a public 501c3 Youth Group titled Team Spartan in Saint Mary's PA. The Mission of Team Spartan is to be an active and engaging youth volunteer force in the community while encouraging our youth to be their absolute best.
We will also focus on leadership, honor, character, self-confidence and integrity while promoting the personal and collective growth and success of our Spartan members and the organization. We will stick together and work as a team always. It is a group that supports one another while breaking down social barriers, build trusting alliances, cheers for one another, accumulates
service hours, build resumes/applications while empowering and encouraging others as dreams are realized.
I am looking for highly motivated Middle and High School age students and younger are certainly welcomed as long as they have a parent to provide oversight. There is no fee associated with joining, the shirts or anything else. These funds will be used to provide Team Spartan T-shirts and sweatshirts for all members, event entry fees, awards, meals, team building activities, scholarships and more. Let’s together start our own Youth Revolution of Teamwork, Community and Action. The first meeting will occur on Thursday 30 March at 6pm at the Saint Mary's Youth Center on Erie Avenue.
