Team Sofia

My amazing friend was diagnosed last month with ovarian cancer at the tender age of 37.  She and her husband recently spoke about having children and now that opportunity is lost for them (biologically). She is a dedicated elementary school teacher who brightens any room she enters and is always the life of the party! She has already had a procedure to remove a tumor and has 2 more procedures planned this month. The doctors will know after her surgery on April 29th whether or not she’ll need chemotherapy. As teachers we have insurance, but I assure you it’s not much. The medical bills are already starting to pile up and Sofia needs to focus her energy on fighting and healing.  This is the beginning of the battle for she and her husband Sam. Please help me to ease their minds by supporting their journey.
