A few months ago, we found out that Sky will need open heart surgery to repair his tricuspid valve. He has developed a regurgitation in the right side of his heart, causing an enlargement. He will also be undergoing a MAZE procedure, enabling restoration of normal sinus rhythm to his heart. Sky will be treated at Stanford Medical Center, which we believe is the best care possible. Sky and his family will need lots of support, but they will also need time to rest and recover once this surgery happens. We will post updates as we receive them, and will do our best to answer any questions in a timely manner. This group will serve as the place you can come for the most current updates as to Sky's condition, his healing, and recovery process. This is your group, as you are his village.  We created this fundraiser and Facebook group so we can send Sky encouragement, prayers, laughs, or whatever you feel like sharing with him and his family to help them through this.
