The unexpected death of a child is an unimaginable loss that no one could be prepared for.

As many of you have heard our beloved friend, Georgia Swell lost her first born, her ‘SUPER STAR’ Shai today August 27, 2021. Shaiajea was born April 24, 1996. Shai became a Brewster High School graduate in 2017.

She was a child from God since day one. As you all know Shaiajea had special needs. To nurture someone so completely, and to do it for so long, takes dedication and depth of love that is hard to comprehend for those who haven’t done it. It is truly loving without condition, and it is perhaps the most beautiful and pure example of love that exists. Georgia made that kind of love exist, she made it possible! Not only did Georgia love and care for Shai 24/7 she’s raising Shai’s four siblings (as I like to call it her football team and my favorite players!), as a single Mom. That’s dedication!

Shai gave us the gift of unconditional love. Unconditional love is loving even when it hurts, even when it’s not easy. It’s loving because you simply can’t help but to love. And that is the greatest triumph of any life. To love and be loved. Shai taught us how to love without words, without limits, without reasons. She was our rainbow. Through the tough times, through the adversity and the challenges and the pain, she shined through with a special light. It’s not fair that she shined brightly for only a short time and then left us. The best gift she gave us, was her very life. She was a gift. For all the ways she taught us about life and love, for all the ways she inspired us to be better, and for all the love she gave while she was here with us, she was a gift to each of us.

The love and joy that Shai has brought to Georgia, Shonah-Rose and Bryce-Anthony, Destiny, Kierra and her family will never be forgotten. Shaiajea had a big heart and her personality was contagious!! The family is devastated and truly heartbroken. No amount of words can express the pain that Georgia is going through. I am sure she is very thankful for everyone sending their love and prayers and hope she’s able to find strength during this dark time. Our heart breaks for the Sewell family.

No one should have to think of expenses at a time like this. I ask from the bottom of my heart to please help the Sewell Family in their time of need. ANY amount is greatly appreciated to give Shaiajea the proper burial she deserves and give Georgia one less thing to worry about. I thank EVERYONE for their donations in advance, Thank you! ❤️
