We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for Scott Salsedo, a beloved teacher at Oakdale Middle School, who recently suffered a devastating medical emergency.

On Sunday, July 27th, Scott experienced a massive stroke and brain bleed, which led to an emergency craniectomy—a critical procedure that required the removal of a large portion of his skull to relieve severe brain swelling. Since that day, Scott and his loving wife, Shannon, have remained in the hospital, facing an incredibly difficult and uncertain journey.

The stroke has left Scott without movement on the entire left side of his body, and while he continues to fight every day, his road to recovery will likely take months or even years. The physical, emotional, and financial toll is overwhelming.

Scott is more than just an incredible educator—he’s a mentor, a friend, and a beacon of positivity to countless students and colleagues. He has poured his heart into teaching and has touched the lives of so many through his dedication and compassion.
