Team Ruthie

This account has been set up for our dear friend and former CARC nursing co-worker, Ruthie Davis, who has been undergoing treatment for cancer. Ruthie is a wonderful woman who has not only dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family, but has also been a great friend to so many; there is not much that she wouldn't do to help a friend or family member.  As a little girl Ruthie knew that her true calling was to care for others. As a nurse Ruthie provided excellent nursing care along with genuine compassion to her patients. For the past 17 years Ruthie derived vast joy and satisfaction from spending time with and providing positive reinforcement and nursing care to the residents of CARC Inc. However, Ruthie is now in need of our help. She was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer that requires extremely costly and aggressive treatment. That along with multiple out of town trips, many requiring extended stays, resulted in mounding debt. As we all know, insurance does not pay 100% thus leaving Ruthie to worry about insurmountable debt along with the loss of income. During this time, Ruthie should focus on her recovery, not on debt, however, we all know that is hard to do.
