Team Robin: Help Robin Fight Cancer and Support Her Family

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
Our beloved daycare provider, Robin, has been a nurturing presence in the lives of countless children. Tragically, she has been diagnosed with an aggressive stage-4 cervical cancer. This diagnosis has forced her to make the heart-wrenching decision to close her in-home daycare after 28 years of dedicated service, jeopardizing both her family's livelihood and the care of the children she loves.

Robin has always been more than just a caregiver; she's been a trusted friend and a source of unconditional love for our kids. Her daycare has been a haven of joy, learning, and growth, radiating positivity and warmth.

Now, as she faces this immense challenge, Robin needs our support. The intense treatment will prevent her from working, putting her family's financial stability at serious risk. Without the daycare income, they will struggle to pay bills and the mortgage.

Robin's Journey:
Robin started her daycare 28 years ago, driven by her passion for creating a safe and loving environment for children. For years, she has been a trusted figure for parents and a cherished role model for kids. She is the proud mother of two exceptional children, Amber and Zack, and a devoted wife to Marty for over 31 years. After months of battling severe pain and struggling for medical attention, Robin received the devastating diagnosis of an aggressive stage-4 cervical cancer that had metastasized into her lymphatic system.

This news has shocked her family and the many families she has supported throughout the years. Following her doctor's advice, Robin must now close her daycare indefinitely to begin chemotherapy, leaving her without the income she relies on.

How You Can Help:
We've launched this GoFundMe campaign to provide Robin and her family with the financial relief they urgently need. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help cover:

• Medical expenses (chemotherapy, medications, surgeries)
• Mortgage payments
• Ease the burden of basic living expenses (groceries, utilities, etc)

Words from Parents Who She Has Served:

“Robin has been a part of our family for the past two years. My daughter Kinsley runs to see her every morning to start her day with a smile on her face. She will be missed but not forgotten as she has been such a memorable part of Kinsley’s childhood. I consider Robin part of my extended family. She is a fighter, a strong woman and a wonderful human being.” – Chelsea Giesen (daughter Kinsley, age 2)

“My kids love Robin (Mrs. Roddin, as they would affectionately call her), so much. She cared for my youngest since he was 4 months old. Robin always loved and cared for both of my kids like family. Being able to go to work and know that my kids were safe and loved was invaluable. They’ve learned so much from her and we will miss seeing her every day.” – Brittany Parker (daughter Kennedy, age 4 and son Cruz, age 2)

"My daughter Colette has been in Mrs. Robin's care for 3.5 years, starting when she was just 3 months old. During a stressful time as a new mother, Robin helped Colette learn to bottle-feed while I returned to work. Robin provided the love and nurturing support that made all the difference, playing an integral role in shaping Colette’s character and upbringing. We love Robin; she feels like family to us. Our daily chats at the end of each day are moments I truly cherish. While we will miss her care immensely, we are committed to supporting her in any way we can, just as she has always supported our family."– Michelle McCaslin (Colette, age 3.5)
