Help save our salon home! This pandemic is such an unfortunate event affecting so many people in so many different ways. The first shutdown was extremely hard but we persevered. Yet again we've been deemed unsafe by our state government. Even though the majority of our schooling and state testing is based on disease control and client protection. We are taught and state tested on disinfection and sanitation. Coming back from the first
shutdown we invested in so much to be up to standards to operate. Salons are not the enemies. We are trained professionals working in an EXTREMELY controlled environment. Due to these new guidelines we are once again forced to close our doors. So we are reaching out to our community for support. All of us stylists who work at Provence have been so lucky and blessed to have Tammy Provence as a boss/friend. She has been so kind and supportive of us through these trying times. She has waived our weekly booth rent once. Even though this has caused such financial stress on her. She truly is an amazing person and leader. She has proved that by putting her salon family first. We ask if you are able and willing please donate and support a local business. Being a hairstylist means so much to us. As hairstylists we are able to create art and make our clients feel confident and beautiful. Though we are not considered essential by our government, we feel that we are. We help our clients feel their absolute best and give them that added confidence they didn't know they had within. Nothing fulfills us more than serving our community. Donating will help ensure that Tammy's kind heart and financial sacrifice will not go unnoticed. Tammy has been an amazing example for all business owners by putting her stylists first. Us stylists want to help her out as much as we can, but unfortunately we are independent contractors and we are not eligible for financial help from the government. We are expected to just get stripped of our incomes and livelihoods that support our families. While not knowing when or if we will be able to come back to work soon. Every week we don't work we are risking the possibility of our salon not being able to open once again when allowed too.
Tammy has exhausted every resource she can trying to get help for her small business. All we ask is if you are able to please help support us and your local economy by donating. Even if you are not able to donate please share to help get the word out there. We appreciate anything you can do! Thank you so much to our community and clients for the continued support! We love you all, and hope to serve you once this is all over!
Thank you,
Team Provence
